Gardaí encountered a herd of dairy cows whilst conducting a Covid-19 checkpoint earlier this morning (Sunday, April 26th).
In a post on social media, a spokesperson for Cavan/Monaghan Garda Division said: “Social distancing not great at a Covid-19 checkpoint at Main Street, Emyvale this morning.”
“Please get it right ladies. #StayAtHome #StaySafe #SocialDistancing.” the post added.
