Roscommon Mart – cattle prices – 19-11-2021

According to Maura Quigley, prices “held firm for all classes” at Roscommon Mart on Friday, November 19^th, 2021.

The mart manager reported that entry numbers remained “high” at the mart’s general cattle sale.

She reported “an excellent show of bullocks with prices ranging from €2.46 per kilo up to €3.15 per kilo”.

“Heifers made from an average of €2.34 per kilo up to €2.74 per kilo. Dry cows fetched from €1.79 per kilo up to €2.28 per kilo with all lots sold.”

“There was a good attendance of customers at the ringside with online bidders active as well,” she added.
