Roscommon Mart report – cattle prices – 12-11-2021

According to Maura Quigley, buyers “remained anxious” for stock at Roscommon Mart’s cattle sale on Friday, November 12^th, 2021.

She reported that “plenty” of bidders were active, both ringside and online.

“There were good numbers on offer again, with a firm trade for all classes,” she remarked.

“Bullocks averaged from €2.13 per kilo up to €2.75 per kilo.  Heifers made from an average of €2.42 per kilo up to €4.03 per kilo for a Limousin weighing 520 kgs and making €2100.”

“Dry cows fetched from €1.81 per kilo up to €2.55 per kilo,” she added.
