‘Price slippages suggested by factories did not materialise’ with highs of €2,560 – Cander

Kilkenny Mart – Cattle Prices – 09-06-2022

According to George Candler, some 1,000 lots – including over 200 cull cows – passed through the ring at Kilkenny Mart on June 9^th, 2022.

The mart’s auctioneer reported that trade was similar to the previous week, with bullocks to €2,560, cull cows to €2,470 and heifers to €2,500.

He reported that “price slippages suggested by factories did not materialise at Thursday’s sale”.
