Sheep Sale – Baltinglass Mart report – 06-03-2021
A smaller entry went under the hammer at Baltinglass Mart on Saturday (March 6th, 2021), according to Tom Coleman.
The mart manager reported a full clearance at the weekly sheep sale.
Speaking following the sale, Coleman, said: “Prices improved by €3- €5 from last week. A top price of €162 was paid for nice quality butcher lambs.”

Baltinglass Mart 27-02-2021
There was a “very strong” farmer-driven trade for both heavy and store lambs at Baltinglass Mart on Saturday (February 27th), according to Tom Coleman.
He reported that lambs improved €4-€6/head on the previous week’s returns. A top price of €147 was forked out for 15 ewe lambs, weighing €40kg.
