Digger stolen from field in Cavan

Gardaí are investigating the theft of a Hitachi Ex60 digger from a field in Curkish, Bailieboro, Co. Cavan.

The digger was taken between 5 pm on Friday, November 20th and noon on Saturday, November 21st, according to Gardaí.

Furthermore, Cavan/Monaghan Garda Division issued an appeal for information on Facebook.

“Gardai in Bailieboro are currently investigating the theft of a Hitachi Ex60 digger from a field in Curkish, Bailieboro. It occurred between the hours of 5 pm on Friday 20th and 12 midday on Saturday 21st November.”

“It is believed the digger was removed on a flatbed truck and headed in the general direction of Lough an Leagh/Kingscourt.”

Gardaí urges anyone with information to contact Balieboro Garda Station on 042 9694570.
