Trailer transporting cattle overturns

Gardaí attended the scene of a single-vehicle collision involving a jeep and trailer yesterday (Wednesday, November 11th).

Fermoy and Glanmire Gardaí responded to the incident on the M8.

Garda Síochána – Cork, Kerry & Limerick – Southern Region shared images and information across social media.

“Heavy rain, wind and surface-water made driving conditions difficult. A 4×4 got into difficulty and their trailer with cattle on board ended up pointing the wrong direction.”

“Thankfully nobody was injured and the cattle on board were shaken but not stirred. As winter sets in, remember to adjust your speed according to conditions – you never know what’s going to happen.”

“The cattle were completely unharmed and were able to continue on their journey to the – Let’s just say, the rest of their journey went just fine.”
