A quad bike crash has claimed the life of a 28-year-old male in Northern Ireland.
He died around 7:45 pm in the Galbally area, Dungannon, Co Tyrone, on Tuesday, August 17th, 2021.
Emergency services, including the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, attended the scene.

Police have confirmed that John Paul Nugent was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle collision. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
Local Sinn Féin councillor, Sean McGuigan, spoke to the Belfast Telegraph following the incident.
He said Nugent, who had recently returned from Australia, was on the quad bike when it collided with the corner of the wall.
According to reports, Nugent had purchased the bike a week before the crash occurred.
McGuigan told the publication: “He was very popular and was a buy very good at what he did. works with quads; he works with bikes. It just did not seem real, but unfortunately it was very real”.
“I would like to express my deepest condolences to his immediate family and partner and his friends throughout the area. It is a tragic loss. I would also thank the emergency services who attended him.”
According to the Dungannon Herald, the mechanic was “very experienced with bikes”.
The media outlet understands that Nugent had “been working on the bike and had taken it for a short test drive when he collided with a perimeter wall close to the family home where he was reared in the rural area of Altaglushan”.
3 brothers killed in manure pit accident
Last week, three brothers, aged in their thirties, died in an accident in western Ohio after being pulled from a manure pit.
The accident occurred on their family-run livestock farm on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021.
Emergency crews arrived at the Wuebker family farm in the 2300 block of Coldwater Creek Road after receiving 911 calls shortly after midday. It is understood that their mother made the emergency call.
According to numerous reports, the men entered the manure pit to maintain a pump when they were knocked unconscious by fumes and became trapped.
