Properties from €85,000-€130,000

In this week’s property segment, we look at listings on the market from €85,000 to €130,000.

Firstly, in Co Galway, APP Kirrane Auctioneering, has, for sale, a three-bed cottage in Castleview, Castlefarm, Dunmore, Co Galway (main image), for €130,000.

The property – located just behind Dunmore Castle – sits on a 0.5-acre site and, according to the firm’s Kevin Kirrane, would make for a “beautiful retirement home or weekend getaway for someone from the area originally”.

Its accommodation includes a living room, three bedrooms, a kitchen/ dining room, a bathroom, three bedrooms and a private living/sitting area, which could make for a fourth bedroom or a home office.

Outside, you will find two garden storage sheds that, according to the selling agent, could be converted into a pool room, gym, art room or studio.

Moreover, the agent has suggested that the large garden space has “ample” room for a veg garden, a safe play space for children, a polytunnel, a private patio area or a greenhouse.
