155ac farm suitable for dairy, beef or sucklers

A 155.98-acre farm in Co Laois is one of the first properties that will come under the hammer through a virtual online public auction this year.

Wilsons Auctions is overseeing the sale of the lands at Drumagh, Crettyard, Carlow, Co Laois.

As outlined above, the property comprises over 155-acres, along with a four-bed bungalow in need of repair, and it also boasts road frontage.

According to the selling agent, the subject lands are in “one large irregular-shaped open plan block”.

They are in “large manageable” divisions, bound by mature hedging. The agent suggested the lands are currently all in grass and suitable for beef, suckling or dairying.

The selling agent commented: “The river Dinin runs along the entire southern boundary.”

“There is a four-bedroom bungalow, in need of upgrading, located in the centre of the lands access by an internal farm road.”

“There is road frontage onto the R430. Spectacular views of the verdant countryside from all aspects of the farm. The lands are being sold as they are and not subject to planning,” the agent added.
