A farmer in the UK has died after becoming trapped behind the shovel of a JCB Bobcat.
An inquest into the 68-year-old’s death was opened on Monday (April 27th).
It has been reported that Dewi Jones, Denbighshire, was loading hay when the incident occurred on Tuesday, April 21st.
He managed to become free but later collapsed and the air ambulance was called to the scene.
A post-mortem examination concluded that the farmer died of abdominal bleed and liver laceration after a blunt trauma.
The hearing was adjourned until a full inquest can be held.
