94ac farm available for 6-year lease with expected price of €300-€350/ac

A 94-acre farm in Annakisha North, Doneraile, Mallow, County Cork has become available for lease on a long-term basis for a six-year term, with an expected price of €300-€350/ac.

The farm, which was introduced to the market by sole and exclusive agents, Brady Group, on Thursday, July 13th, 2023, is located 1.2 km from the N73 Mitchelstown Road, 5.2 km from Doneraile and just shy of 10km from Mallow.

According to the agents, the farm contains “excellent” quality agricultural land and is suitable for dairy, beef and arable enterprises.

There is a central roadway and an array of easily managed fields/paddocks.

Lease farm in Cork

The land is in a singular block, but its “extensive” road frontage gives the opportunity to lease the land in the following various lots if required, as outlined by the agent:

  • 1 – 23.60-acres or 9.55ha, including buildings and farmyard;
  • 2 – 54.10-acres or 21.89ha;
  • 3 – 16.30-acres or 6.6ha.

Meanwhile, the farmyard consists of a 30.17m x 13.71m cubicle shed with 90 cubicles, automatic scrapers and a slatted passageway.

There is a 19.2 m x 8.22 m slatted unit, and two silage pits, the first being 56.59m x 16.45m and the second: 20.11m x 12.8m.

According to a spokesperson for the firm, there are no entitlements from the BISS – Basic Income Support for Sustainability Scheme – which now replaces BPS (Basic Payment Scheme) since January 1st, 2023 – to be leased with the land.

Financial and technical vetting of losses may be conducted, through means of reviewing financial accounts for 2020, 2021 and 2022, ICBF and milk purchaser access codes or selected reports and a letter of comfort from a financial institution/accountant confirming financial standing and suitability for the lease.
