Over 140 lots are catalogued for Cork Marts’ machinery auction in Corrin Event Centre on Thursday, September 15th, 2022.
The hybrid sale – which the mart is holding in conjunction with MartEye – will kick off at 5 pm this evening.
Kevin Casey of Cork Marts confirmed to That’s Farming that all entries are presently on-site, which is located just outside Fermoy.
He said: “The sale includes a large number of entries including a large number of tractors, trailers, and a large array of other farm implements and tools.
“The full catalogue for this sale – which contains information about all lots – is available on the Mart Eye app.”
“You can register to bid via MartEye, after which the mart will approve your request, or you can bid in-person at the ringside,” he added.
Some of the highlight items in this sale include:
- Case MXU 100 (main image).
- New Holland TS 115 turbo (below)
- A 24ft Eamon Power cattle trailer in “immaculate” condition
- Krammer loader including pallet forks, grab, and bucket
- Cross dung spreader
Machinery prices
Casey reported that at the mart’s most recent auction on July 14th, 2022, certain tractor implements were in “high demand”.
The last auction included:
- 18ft Eamon Power tractor-drawn cattle trailer in “good” condition at €9,850;
- 24ft Eamon Power tractor-drawn cattle trailer– in need of repairs at €10,000.
- Grain trailer with removable sides at €13,300;
- Herrion grain trailer at €10,200;
- Bredal lime and fertiliser trailed spreader at €12,000.
Viewing, registering, and bidding
Interested parties can view items today. The mart will take a deposit via credit card and will fully refund this seven days following the sale if no purchases are made.
All machinery must be collected on Friday, September 16th, 2022.
