Beef Plan launches fundraiser for Australian farmers

The Beef Plan Movement has launched a GoFundMe campaign in support of farmers in Australia who have been impacted by bushfires.

“Farmers have had herds of cattle and sheep wiped out lost, their homes and farm buildings.” a post on its GoFundMe page outlined.

“Beef Plan Movement want to help, and in association with Australian farm organisations, we want the money to go directly to those most in need.”

“Please give what you can – let’s show our farming brothers and sisters we stand with them.”

Devastation

Some farmers have been forced to euthanize cattle, that were so “badly burned” by the bushfires “that they couldn’t get up, let alone survive,” as reported by us.

One dairy farmer said the clean-up operation will take months, and that’s only if the fires don’t do more damage in the coming days, which, he warned, is likely.

Tom Otton said: “Farming towns, particularly dairy, completely wiped off the map, including the loss of two close mates.”
