Weanlings top out at €3,440 at Roscommon Mart

Roscommon Mart – Cattle Prices – 09-08-2022

According to a spokesperson for Roscommon Mart, there was a “good” entry of “quality” entries at its show and sale of autumn-born weanlings on Tuesday, August 9th, 2022.

The mart spokesperson reported that trade was “brisk” as a “good” number of customers “actively” bid both online and at the ringside.

Weanling heifers ranged an average of €2.84-€5.02/kg for a Limousin-cross heifer, weighing 340 kgs at €1710.

On the other hand, weanling bulls climbed from average of €2.89-€6.94/kg for a Limousin-cross, weighing 495 kgs, €3,440.
