Roscommon Mart – cattle prices – 17-09-2021

According to Maura Quigley, prices “held firm for all stock” at Roscommon Mart’s cattle sale on Friday, September 17^th, 2021.

The mart manager reported that the sale attracted “good numbers” with “plenty of customers actively sourcing stock online at the ringside and online”.

Heifers made from an average of €2.50 per kilo up to €3.25 per kilo, while cull cows sold from an average of €2.03 per kilo up to €2.43 per kilo.

“Bullock numbers were small due to next week’s special sale. Prices for bullocks averaged from €2.34 per kilo up to €3.27 per kilo.”
