A man has died after his tractor crashed into an ‘electrical structure’ on farmland.
The incident occurred in the Immingham area in Lincolnshire on Thursday, March 5th.
Up to 2,000 of Northern Powergrid’s customers were left without power on Thursday afternoon.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Enquiries are underway into the death of a 32-year-old-man on farm premises in the Immingham area on Thursday, March 5th.”
“We are working with the HSE to establish the circumstances of the death.”

A post-mortem is set to be conducted this week. In a statement last week, a spokesman for the Grimsby and North Lincolnshire coroner’s office said: “An inquest is expected to be opened next week and then adjourned.”
