A farm accident has claimed the life of a farmer from Co. Cork.
The incident occurred in the Carrigaline area of the county last night (Thursday, June 25th).
Emergency services attended the scene, however, the man, aged in his 60s, was pronounced dead.
His body was removed to Cork University Hospital, where a post-mortem will take place at a later date.
The Health and Safety Authority and Gardaí have launched investigations.
