Following the success of last’s year’s inaugural virtual timed auction, the Luscious Ladies production sale is back “bigger and better than before” with 100 sheep across 8 breeds.
The virtual timed auction, in conjunction with MartEye and Tullow Livestock Sales, will run from 12 pm on Friday, July 21st, 2023, and close on a lot-by-lot basis, commencing at 6 pm on Monday, July 24th, 2023.
“Top” females of the following breeds will be on offer:
- Texel;
- Suffolk;
- Milford;
- Charolais;
- Dutch Spotted;
- Bluefaced Leister;
- Lanark;
- Sufftex;
- Hybrids.
Woodtown Pedigrees run by Dwayne and Gerard Shiels in Woodtown, Ramelton, Co. Donegal are back this year with their female production sale, with two guest flocks, Woodview and Killyclug.

Woodview Dutch Spotted and Killyclug Suffolks
Meanwhile, Woodview Dutch Spotted have also experienced lots of recent success including premier sale male, female, and overall champion 2021 and has seven females coming directly from this line available in the sale.
Killyclug Suffolks have four “very strong” shearling ewes on offer, and they also have enjoyed success in recent times, including taking female champion at last year’s Donegal in-lamb sale and novice champion at the premier sale 2018.
