‘Super’ selection for multi-breed Luscious Ladies sheep sale

Luscious Ladies

Whether it is various breeds of “woollies” or even a “woof woof”, you can find them all at the forthcoming Luscious Ladies female production sale.

The multi-breed sale kicks off on Friday, July 22nd, 2022, on MartEye Elite and will run until July 24th, 2022.

The catalogue comprises a “super” selection of females (60 sheep & 2 sheepdogs) from “the heart” of the prize-winning Woodtown (Sheils family) and Lanmore (TJ Duffy) flocks.

Speaking to That’s Farming, organisers of the timed online auction, which will feature eight breeds, and is being held in association with Mayo-Sligo Livestock Mart, said:

“With various breeds from Texels to Dutch Spotties and everything in between, it is sure to have something to suit everyone.”

“Texels are the main breed on show with over 20 exciting lots on offer.”

“Purchased for €8500, there are several daughters on offer in the sale,” the breeders added.

Other breeds include:

  • Suffolk;
  • Milford;
  • Charollais;
  • Dutch Spotted;
  • Bluefaced Leicester;
  • Lanark;
  • A large selection of hybrids.
