Jordan Auctioneers is guiding its newest listing, a block of circa 53-acres at Eagle Hill, Suncroft, The Curragh, Co Kildare, at €10,000/acre.

The entire is being offered for sale in the following lots, by means of auction on Friday, September 29th, 2023, at 3 pm in the Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

1: Circa 45 acres with farmyard.

These lands are all in one block, currently in grass and laid out in four divisions with natural boundaries and hedgerows on all sides.

There is extensive frontage onto a cul-de-sac laneway, while the yard, located at the entrance provides two hay barns with lean-to, cattle crush and loading pens.

2: Circa 8 acres:

This lot is directly opposite the lands above and is in grass, in one division.

It would make an ideal site for a residence subject to obtaining the necessary planning permission, according to the selling agents.

3: Entire 53-acs

Location

The property is 4km from Suncroft and 7km from Nurney in South Kildare.

There is access via several local roads and the larger towns of Newbridge (12km), The Curragh (7km), Kildare Town (11km), Athy (13km) & Kilcullen (12km) are all within easy reach.

The M9 and M7s are also both within easy reach (10 mins).

According to the selling agents, “the entire is an ideal out farm or possible location for a hobby farmer looking to construct a residence”.

“With the land leasing market also strong, the investment merits of acquiring land to take advantage of the tax–free income also presents opportunities”.
