Dublin Fire Brigade recently battled a large barn fire in Co. Dublin.
The incident happened on Friday (May 8th) in Lucan, West Dublin.
Barn fire
A spokesperson for the Fire Brigade reported that a large number of bales were alight inside the structure.
Two appliances and a supplementary water tanker were required to battle the blaze. Fire crews remained at the scene overnight until they eventually managed to extinguish the flames.
It was reported that smoke and steam from the incident was visible as far as the M50 and locals were advised to close all windows if affected.
