Reduced to €99,000 from an initial asking price of €120,000 is a derelict cottage on 2.91-acres for sale in County Wexford.

Sherry Fitzgerald O’Leary Kinsella is handling the sale of the property in Enniscorthy, on the foothills of the Blackstairs Mountains in “a beautiful scenic area”.

Commenting on the property listing in Cullentragh, Kiltealy, the selling agent said:

“The cottage, originally built c. 1880s, also has the benefit of some beautiful old derelict stone sheds along with very mature trees providing plenty of privacy.”

“Kiltealy village is less than a 5-minute drive where there is a shop, pub, primary school and a church.”

“Exit 25 off the M11 motorway is which is access via a ring road from the N30 is approximately a 15-minute drive, while Enniscorthy town is approximately 17 kms away,” the selling agent added.

€1m for mansion 

Meanwhile, Daniel O’Donnell’s former mansion, Donegal Shore House, is back on the market with a €1m price tag.

Savills is handling the sale of the property at Kincasslagh, Co Donegal, F94 A2P2, which sold for €3m in 2007.

According to the selling agent, the coastal property is on a cliff edge with “uninterrupted, breath-taking views” across this Atlantic inlet between Cruit Island and the Donegal mainland.

“The house has been beautifully designed to take advantage of the spectacular, panoramic views over the bay and surrounding scenery.”
