Castlerea Mart – Cattle Prices – 28-07-2022
According to Brendan Egan, a similar-sized entry went under the hammer at Castlerea Mart on Thursday, July 28th, 2022.
The mart manager reported that heifers sold to €2,540, while bullocks peaked at €2,580 and cull cows topped out at €2,380 at Thursday’s cattle sale.
He reported that weanlings, runners, and breeding stock met “remained a good” trade with a “good “clearance taking place overall.
