New to the market and inviting offers of over €163,000 (£140,000) is Carr Island, Lower Lough Erne, Enniskillen, Northern Ireland.

Montgomery Finlay & Co has introduced the property, spanning 26.8-acres, to the market.

According to the selling agent, Carr Island occupies a “prominent location” in the main waterway of Lower Lough Erne, close to Trory Public Jetty.

“Lower Lough Erne is especially renowned by those with an interest in all kinds of watersports. With your own island, you can simply relax and unwind with a days angling and enjoy the breath-taking wildlife.”

Historical census information indicates Carr Island was lived on in the mid-19th century. The selling agent stated this will assist with application for potential planning permission subject to all statutory consents.

“Carr Island provides a unique view of Devenish Island and only minutes from the Lough Erne Golf Resort jetty. This peaceful and tranquil setting will provide unparallel views of the surrounding Lough Erne and a wonderful opportunity to a potential investor.”
