Clearance sale of 50 bullocks, farm machinery and tractors

Carnew Mart has announced details of a clearance sale of livestock, tractors, farm machinery and equipment from a holding in Knockadawk, Kilmuckridge, Co Wicklow, through an online auction in the coming weeks.

The sale, which the mart will hold in conjunction with LSL Auctions, will take place on Monday, October 17^th, 2022, at 6:30 pm.

The mart has issued a preview list of some of the items that will come under the hammer.

Viewing of all equipment from 3 pm-6 pm on Friday, October 14^th, 2022, from 2 pm-5 pm the following day and the same time range on Monday, October 17^th, 2022, before the auction kicks off.

Carnew Mart: Cattle Prices

According to David Quinn, just under 900 cattle came under the hammer at Carnew Mart on Saturday, October 1st, 2022.

The mart manager reported that “a very good” trade prevailed on Saturday, with all buyers “very active” around the ring.
