Cull cows to €2,730 and heifers to €2,100 at Tuam

Tuam Mart – Cattle Prices – 28-11-2022

According to Marion Devane, an “exceptional” trade prevailed at Tuam Mart’s cattle sale on Monday, November 28th, 2022.

The mart manager reported that heifers reached €2,100, while cull cows soared to €2,730, bullocks peaked at €2,060, weanling heifers made to €1,250, weanling bulls fetched up to €1,150.

Heifer prices:

  • 455 kg LMX by a Dunmore farmer made €1330 (€2.92/kg);
  • 500 kg CHX by a Cummer farmer made €1490 (€2.98/kg);
  • 525 kg LMX by a Cummer farmer made €1530 (€2.91/kg);
  • 530 kg LMX by a Woodquay farmer made €1600 (€3.02/kg);
  • 545 kg LMX by a Claregalway farmer made €1700 (€3.12/kg);
  • 560 kg CHX by a Woodquay farmer made €1640 (€2.93/kg);
  • 575 kg LMX by a Dunmore farmer made €1800 (€3.13/kg);
  • 720 kg LMX by a Dunmore farmer made €2100 (€2.92/kg);
  • 650 kg CHX by a Woodquay farmer made €2080 (€3.20/kg).

Bullock prices:
