Roscommon Mart report – 13-08-2021

According to Maura Quigley, there was a “good entry of excellent quality cattle” at Roscommon Mart on Friday, August 13^th, 2021.

The mart manager reported a “firm trade for all classes”.

She outlined that bullocks averaged from €2.43 per kilo up to €3.05 per kilo. Meanwhile, heifers fetched from an average of €2.36 per kilo and cull cows averaged from €2.03 per kilo up to €2.46 per kilo.

“There was a good demand from customers both at the ringside and online, resulting in a high percentage clearance of lots.”
