Roscommon Mart report – cattle prices – 07-08-2021

According to Maura Quigley, a larger entry met with a “firm” trade at Roscommon Mart on Friday, August 7^th, 2021.

The mart manager reported that bullocks made from an average of €2.34/kg up to €3.03/kg.

Furthermore, heifers fetched from €2.40/kg up to €3.06/kg. Dry cows averaged from €2.06/kg up to €2.39/kg.

Speaking following the general cattle sale, she said:

“Customers were active online and at the ringside resulting in a high percentage clearance of lots.”
