Headford Mart – cattle prices – 03-07-2021

According to a spokesperson, “another large entry of cattle for this time of year” was on offer at Headford Mart on Saturday, July 7^th, 2021.

Headford Mart 03-07-2021:

• Bullocks ranged from €1.72 to €2.77 per kg or €300 to €1275 over the kg. Top price over the kg – a CHX – 795kg – €2070 – €2.60/kg (lot 10). Top price per kg – a LMX – 480kg – €1330 – €2.77/kg – (lot 8B).
• Heifers went under the hammer from €1.80 to €3.23 per kg or €240 to €1315 over the kg. Top price over kg – a LMX – 835kg – €2150 – €2.57/kg (lot 24). Top price per kg pair, Chx, 285kg, €920, €3.23/kg (lot 34H).
• Weanling bulls changed hands from €1.97 to €2.90 per kg or €345 to €715 over the kg. Top price over the kg – a CHX – 385kg – €1100 – €2.86/kg, (Lot 43C). Top price per kg – LMX – 345kg – €1000 – €2.90/kg, (Lot 43A).
• Cull cows sold from €730 to €2190 for 4 yr old Hex, 975kg (lot 201);
• Cow and calf pairings peaked at €1780;
• Stock bulls realised €1700.

• Bullocks ranged from €1.65 to €2.92 per kg or €287 to €1150 over on June 26^th, 2021;
• Heifers climbed from €1.59 to €2.94 per kg or €167 to €1050 over;
• Weanling bulls went under the hammer from €2.67 to €2.97 per kg or €575 to €735 over;
• Cull cows pushed from €1.34 to €2.34/kg or €570 to €1580.
• Cow and calf pairings topped out at €1900.
