Carnew Mart report – cattle prices 17-04-2021
According to David Quinn, over 950 cattle and 630 calves went under the hammer at Carnew Mart on Saturday, April 17th, 2021.
The mart manager reported that “beef cattle were up €40-€60/head on the previous week”.
“All factory agents, feedlots and northern buyer were very active. A top price of €2,070 was paid for a CH bullock, 762kg, while a 730kg heifer sold to €1920.”
