Quality store bullocks in demand at Blessington

A much larger sale of cattle was on offer at Blessington Mart’s cattle sale on Thursday (June 11th), according to a mart spokesperson.

There was a very good trade for all classes, but especially so for nice quality store bullocks in the 280-450kg weight bracket.


  • Beef bullocks +600kg – €585-€760 over;
  • Forward store bullocks +500kg – €450-€680 over;
  • Store bullocks +400kg – €400-€625 over;
  • Store bullocks +300kg – €380-€530 over;
  • Beef heifers +500kg – €500-€645 over;
  • Store heifers +400kg – €400-€460 over;
  • Fat cows – €260-€460 over.
