Wanted: Cattle for export to North Africa

Wicklow Calf Company has secured a contract to supply spring-born bulls and heifers to North Africa.

Continentals, Friesians, and Aberdeen-Angus are being sought for the consignment, the firm announced yesterday (Tuesday, September 1st).

Earlier this year, the proprietors of the business, the Scallon family, supplied 2,000 bull calves to North Africa, as reported by us here.

Eligible breeds for this particular consignment included Angus; Hereford; Simmental; Belgian Blue and Limousin.
