Van towing trailer stopped by Gardaí

A van towing a trailer was stopped at a checkpoint in Co. Laois over the weekend.

Portlaoise Gardaí on patrol on Saturday (October 17th) discovered that the trailer had no rear lights, no number plate attached and had one “extremely” worn tyre.

In a social media post, Garda Síochána Laois Offaly confirmed that Fixed Charge Notices were issued to the driver.
