A fatal accident involving a telehandler and a motorbike occurred on Thursday, May 21st.
The incident occurred at Hollins Lane, Forton, Lancashire.
Collision
A 79-year-old man was riding a Suzuki motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with a JCB telehandler. He suffered serious head and chest injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The telehandler driver, a 22-year-old man from Scorton, was not injured. He was later arrested on suspicion of careless and drug driving but has since been released under investigation.
The road was closed for 5 hours as an investigation on the scene was carried out.

Police are appealing for information following the incident and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
