A Limousin-cross heifer, by the famed EBY, is the top prize in a fundraising draw, which aims to raise €10,000 to develop playground facilities at a school in the west of Ireland.
Lavally National School PTA have organised the raffle to help raise funds for “much-needed” groundwork and playground facilities for the Co Galway-based school.
The current playground, which consists of monkey bars and swings, has been the same for over 40 years, and the committee hopes to develop a new and safer facility.
The first-prize winner can take the Limousin-cross heifer or a €2,200 cash price alternative, while the second prize is a tonne of Paul and Vincent’s beef nuts or a €400 hotel voucher and the third prize is a €200 One4All voucher.
Norman Connolly, who is involved in the initiative, said:
“We bought Lola a few weeks ago so that the school could do a raffle. It took us a couple of months to find here, and she is a class act.”
“If you have a €10 to spare, please buy a ticket.” You will not be disappointed if you win her,” he concluded.
Tickets are priced at €10 (can be purchased online via this link), and the draw will take place at 6 pm on October 23rd, 2023, at Tuam Mart, in Co Galway.
