Ennis Mart – Cattle Prices – 09-02-2023
Prices skyrocketed to €3,420 in the cull cow ring at Ennis Mart’s annual show and sale of cows and heifers on Thursday, February 9th, 2023.
That is according to a spokesperson who reported that some “fabulous” cows came under the hammer, with some lots exceeding the €3,000 mark.
They continued: “There was a very large heifer sale of 400 lots, with some excellent types on offer, including some great store heifers.”
“A 99% clearance was achieved. Over a dozen aged bulls averaged €2.58/kg with a Belgian Blue bull of 990kgs making €2,470,” the spokesperson added.
