Bullocks to €2,890 and cull cows to €2,620 at Balla Mart

Balla Mart – Cattle Prices – 21-05-2022

According to Stephen Hannon of Balla Mart, just over 800 lots passed through three rings at its most recent sale on Saturday, May 21st, 2022.

The manager of Balla Mart and general manager of Aurivo Marts, explained that the sale drew some “quality” heifers, bullocks, and cull cows.

He said: “Online factory and northern buyers pushed things along. All averages nearly reached the €3.00/kg mark with tops reaching new heights of up to €3.60+/kg.”
