Improved trade for factory lambs at Blessington Mart

Factory lambs met with an improved trade at Blessington Mart on Tuesday (October 13th), according to a spokesperson.

They reported that store lambs were similar to the previous weeks with tops of €54 over the kg forked out.

  • Heavy lambs – €112-€115/head or €62-€67 over;
  • Factory lambs – €100-€112/head or €47-€60 over;
  • Store lambs over 40kgs – €85-€96/head or €45-€54 over;
  • Store lambs over 30kgs – €64-€80/head;
  • Fat ewes – €110-€128/head;
  • Feeding ewes – €75-€105/head;
  • Breeding ewes – €140-€205/head.
