A tractor run in memory of Declan Davitt and Martin Needham; Macra event; North-East Limousin Club event & Feeding Ourselves event in Cloughjordan.

Feeding Ourselves -This Saturday, May, 26th and Sunday, May, 27th will see the annual gathering of small farmers; community food advocates and parties with an interest in good food; good farming and rural revitalisation at Cloughjordan.

This year’s event organised by Cultivate will bring community-support agriculture; co-operation; regenerative agriculture; citizen science; better agri-food policies; social farming and high nature-value farming will come to the fore this weekend. The full schedule can be found here.

North-East Limousin Club- The Club will host a YMA workshop on Saturday, May, 26th at 4 pm on the farm of Noel Gill, Braddox, Corlongford, Co. Monaghan, H18 RY81.

The event will cover grooming; showing; judging cattle and aspects of safety and nutrition. A barbecue will take place on the night, will all welcome. For more information contact Philipp Crowe on 086- 0743931 or Paddy Clerkin on 086- 2753739.

Killeen National School Tractor Run - A run will take place in memory of Declan Davitt and Martin Needham this Sunday, May, 27th, at 1 pm.

Participants will meet at Killeen, Louisburg, Co. Mayo at the Viewing point, Louisburgh Square at 1.30pm approx. All proceeds will go to Killeen N.S. Sunbeams Extension Fund. Tractor entry €50 or €80 for two tractors - free raffle ticket with tractor entry. For tickets, donation of more information, contact 087-291-9477.

Carrigaline Macra Event: Carrigaline Macra will perform their award-winning play "Babysitting Calvin" this Sunday, May, 27th. The event will take place in Ringaskiddy Hall, at 20:30pm.

Entry is €5 per person and musical entertainment will also be provided by our own talented club members Colin Ross and Laura Spillane. The club recently came 3rd in the National Macra amateur drama finals with this play as well as winning several acting, producing and scene awards along the way.
