Plenty of buyers create ‘vibrant’ trade at Ballinrobe

Numbers continued to rise in Ballinrobe Mart’s cattle sale on Wednesday (June 17th), according to a mart spokesperson.

With plenty of buyers, both online and ringside, the spokesperson said that trade was “vibrant” throughout the day.

Heifers:

  • CHX – 515kg – €1,220 – €2.37/kg (pictured below);
  • AAX – 505kg – €1,000 – €1.98/kg;
  • LMX – 405kg – €1,060 – €2.62/kg;
  • CHX – 350kg – €1,050 – €3.00/kg.

Bullocks:

  • LMX – 460kg – €1,060 – €2.30/kg;
  • HEX – 585kg – €1,230 – €2.10/kg;
  • LMX – 380kg – €950 – €2.50/kg;
  • LM – 300kg – €720 – €2.40/kg.

Dry cows:

  • CHX – 1055kg – €1880.00 – €1.78/kg.

Suckler cows:

  • SIX cow with bull calf at foot – €1,450.
