50 calves were presented for sale at Kilkenny Mart on Monday (July 20th), according to George Candler.
The mart’s auctioneer reported a steady trade with a top call of €355 for a Limousin bull.
“Younger bulls on offer compared to the last few weeks. Due to the fact numbers were scarce, many buyers were unable to fill their orders.” added Candler, who reported a full clearance.
