A similar-sized entry went under the hammer at Blessington Mart’s cattle sale on Thursday (September 17th), according to a spokesperson.

They reported “very little change in trade for all classes”.


  • Beef bullocks – €585-€880 over;
  • Continental store bullocks – €420-€760 over;
  • HE/AA store bullocks – €310-€480 over;
  • Friesian store bullocks – €175-€360 over;
  • Beef heifers – €480-€785 over;
  • Continental store heifers – €400-€635 over;
  • HE/AA store heifers – €285-€460 over;
  • Beef cows – €260-€420 over;
  • Feeding cows – €120-€245 over.
