Heifers reach €2.94/kg at Ballinasloe

Bullocks averaged €2.14-€2.64/kg at Ballinasloe Mart’s cattle sale on Wednesday (June 10th), according to a mart spokesperson.

Heifers went under the hammer for between €2.08/kg and €2.94/kg on the day, while cows earned up to €1,390.

Bullocks:

  • LM – 810kg – €1,700 – €2.10/kg;
  • CH – 765kg – €1610 – €2.10/kg;
  • LM – 690kg – €1,550 – €2.25/kg;
  • CH – 360kg – €950 – €2.64/kg;
  • CH – 377kg – €970 – €2.57/kg;
  • LM – 367kg – €920 – €2.51/kg.

Heifers:

  • CH – 570kg – €1,260 – €2.21/kg;
  • CH – 605kg – €1,360 – €2.25/kg;
  • CH – 655kg – €1,330 – €2.03/kg;
  • LM – 575kg – €1,690 – €2.94/kg;
  • LM – 340kg – €890 – €2.62/kg;
  • CH – 365kg – €920 – €2.52/kg.

Cows:

  • Cows earned from €750/head up to €1,390/head.
