Butcher and factory lambs up €4-€5/head at Blessington

Butcher and factory lambs improved by €4-€5/head at Blessington Mart on Tuesday, June 30th, according to a spokesperson.

They reported a “super trade” for all types of store lambs.

Summary:

  • Butcher lambs – €114-€120 or €65-€70 over;
  • Factory lambs – €100-€114 or €60-€68 over;
  • Store lambs under 35kgs – €84-€98 or €49-€56 over;
  • Store lambs under 35kgs – €55-€83 or €33-€52 over;
  • Fat ewes – €105-€125/head;
  • Feeding ewes – €79-€103/head.
