Up to 50mm of rain forecast

Met Éireann has issued two separate status yellow rainfall warnings.

Firstly, an alert is in place in Galway, Mayo, Cork, Kerry, and Waterford until 6pm this evening (Wednesday, November 11th).

“Through Tuesday night and Wednesday, 30 to 50 mm of rain with higher amounts in mountainous areas. Flooding in places. Reduced visibility and hazardous driving conditions.”

Second warning

Meanwhile, this level of warning is also in place in Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, and Tipperary until 5pm this evening.

25 to 35mm of rainfall will lead to flooding in places. Reduced visibility and hazardous driving conditions.
