Two separate collisions involving cars and tractors

Two separate tractor-car collisions occurred in Northern Ireland yesterday (Friday, November 27th).

The first incident took place on the Frosses Road, Cloughmills in Co. Antrim at approximately 3:45pm.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) issued a brief statement on the matter:

“A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital following after his car collided with a tractor on the Frosses Road, Cloughmills at around 3.45pm.”

“His injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening. One lane blocked is currently blocked northbound and traffic remains heavy in the area.”

Second incident

Meanwhile, a second collision, involving a car and tractor, took place between Derry/Londonderry and Strabane.

A PSNI spokesperson released a statement just before 5pm.

The spokesperson said: “There’s between a collision involving a car and a tractor on Victoria Road between Derry/Londonderry and Strabane. Diversions are in place.”
