Just over 500 cattle passed through the rings at Ennis Mart on Tuesday, November 17th, 2020, according to a spokesperson.
Speaking following the sale, they said: “A good-sized sale and a 96% clearance achieved. Suckler stock met a good trade with a clearance sale of in-calf suckler herd meeting a great trade and these topped out at €1,980.”
“Pairs in the suckler ring hit €1,990. Runner heifers made to €770 and bulls made to €870. Calves met a good trade and made to €440.”
“Quality in the bulls and heifers getting more variable and some shipping activity in the bulls. The heifer weanling trade was very strong.”
