A renowned 18-hole championship golf course, extending to circa 155 st acres, has been introduced to the market.

GVM Auctioneers and Wheeler Auctioneers are jointly handling the sale of Ballykisteen Golf & Country Club, Limerick Junction, Monard, Co. Tipperary.

Farming purposes

This property is “very suitable” for general farming purposes and would be “ideal” for beef, equestrian or dairying use, according to the selling agents.

“The course enjoys the benefits of a vibrant and enthusiastic membership and is also linked to a top-class hotel facility (not included in this sale).”

“The course was carefully constructed to the highest standards in 1993 with many natural contours, tree sculptured surroundings, an abundance of bunkers and challenging water hazards, making this oasis very much a golfers paradise.”

Road frontage

There is extensive road frontage to N24 road linking Limerick to Tipperary/Waterford. There is also frontage to the side road leading from the Limerick Junction side.

Some of the land adjacent to the hotel may have some long-term housing development potential, they noted.

Historically, this holding was part of the once famous Ballykisteen Stud.
