Over 700 entries were offered for sale at Kanturk Mart on Tuesday (October 20th), according to a spokesperson.
They explained that 50% of lots were purchased online by Northern Ireland customers.
Speaking following the general cattle sale, the spokesperson said: “All our sales will be online only from next Tuesday under the new restrictions. Store bullocks making up to €2.20/kg and heifers making up to €2.00/kg.”
DRY COWS:
- 1 FR – 765kg – €1010;
- 1 FR – 775kg – €900;
- 1 FR – 600kg – €590;
- 1 FR – 610kg – €830.
HEIFERS:
- 6 AA – 380kg – €770;
- 6 HE – 410kg – €800;
- 4 CH– 505kg – €1060.
BULLOCKS:
- 8 LM – 395kg – €900;
- 6 AA – 350kg – €720;
- 10 FR – 500kg – €900.
WEANLINGS BULLS:
- 4 CH – 370kg – €830;
- 2 LM – 420kg – €730;
- 2 AA – 360kg – €760.
